Waste and Asbestos
Analysis and classification of solid and liquid waste, hazard assessment, and testing of the sale. Research and determination of asbestos in the materials and in the air.
Analysis for the classification of waste
The correct classification of a refusal requires knowledge of the process that generated it, and the determination of its chemical characteristics.
GEO LAB performs sampling and analysis aimed at the characterization of the waste, attribution, or the code is confirmed EER and to the assessment of any hazard characteristics.
The analytical activities may also include leaching tests, performed to verify the behavior of the refusal and locate the destination.
In the context of the search of the asbestos are also carried out analysis on materials and air samples.

Analysis and classification of waste
Chemical analysis of different types of waste, aimed at the characterisation, hazard assessment, the assignment of the code EER and the verification of the intended destination.
Solid waste
Analysis and characterization of solid waste in relation to their origin, composition, and their next destination.

Liquid waste
Determination of the chemical characteristics of the liquid waste resulting from production activities and treatment processes.

Hazardous waste
Assessment of any hazardous properties through the determination of the analytical parameters needed.

Non-hazardous waste
Analysis of waste to verify the composition and to confirm the absence of the hazard characteristics are considered.

Classification and code EER
Attribution, or confirmation code EER on the basis of their origin, production process and the characteristics of the waste.

Leaching tests
Evaluation of the release of the substances present in the waste for the purposes of the verification of the intended destination.

Asbestos: analysis on materials and air
Asbestos may be present in materials used in the past in the construction industry, in plants and in different production contexts. The only visual observation does not allow to determine with certainty the presence. The laboratory analysis allows you to verify the presence of asbestos in the materials. The monitoring of air, instead, allows to detect the fibers dispersed in the air and deposited on the sampling filters. The methods of collection and analysis are defined in relation to the type of material, the examined environment and the purpose of the investigation.
Sampling
Sampling of material or air, according to the terms defined in relation to the context and purpose of the investigation.
Asbestos materials
Research and determination of the presence of asbestos within the materials, products and other samples subjected to analysis.
Asbestos particulate
Sampling and analysis of the fibres in the air for the determination of asbestos particulate.
Evaluation of the results
Examination of the analytical data obtained in relation to the type of sample, the examined environment and the purpose of the check.
Analysis for the management of waste, and asbestos
The classification of waste and the search for asbestos and require controls defined in relation to the origin, composition and the type of sample.
GEO LAB performs sampling and analysis of waste, materials and air, providing data that are useful for the classification and subsequent evaluation techniques.
Frequently asked questions
Below you will find the answers to the most common questions regarding our analytics services and how to request the correct testing for your needs.
It is possible to combine multiple analyses in a single service plan?
Yes. We create packages of integrated analysis that include testing of water, soil, air, waste, or microbiological analysis in a single, coordinated process, saving you time and simplifying the reporting process.
Provided reports digital?
Yes. All the analytical results are delivered in a digital format, structured, and consistent with the law, including the tables of the parameters, notes, evaluation and information traceability.
All the services are available to private individuals?
The majority of services is designed for businesses, industries and institutions, but the private sector can take the test ondrinking water, ratings, dellindoor air or soil analysis for private property.
